Vegetable roast

If you don't know what to do for eating or you don't have too much time... you can do vegetable roast because you can add everything what you've in the fridge because potatoes are a base of this dish, rest is imagination. So let's start cooking THIS vegetable roast!

Ingredients:

  •  1,5 - 2 kilogrammes potatoes
  • 4-5 big tomatoes
  • 2 big onions
  • ham and/or salami
  • 250 grams green bean
  • 500 grams mushrooms
  • 150 grams maize
  • 100 grams tomato sauce
  • about 150 grams cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 150-200 millilitres cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • mozzarella (optional)
  • spice for potatoes (optional)

Directions:

  1.  Cook potatoes and then let cool about 20-30 minutes.
  2.  Meanwhile cut tomatoes, ham and/or salami, mozzarella, onions and mushrooms up into small pieces.
  3.  Heat olive oil on skillet and stir fry onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Add tomato sauce and maize and fry it about 5 minutes. it will be our sauce.
  4. Place one layer of potatoes in the pan, sprinkle spice for potatoes, then vegetables, cheese and sauce. Repeat it to the end - the last layer should be potatoes, sprinkle it cheese.
  5.  Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  6.  In the bowl mix egg and cream and then moisten whole roast.
  7.  Place it to the oven and bake in 180 degrees C about 30-40 minutes.

You can eat it when it's hot as well as cold. And you can use more spices or mozzarella to remove ham from a recipe  and then you will have a vegetarian dish. The same is with cream adn egg - you can add milk instead of cream or you can use mix of milk (about 100-150 millilitres) plus 100-150 millilitres cream.

Bon Appétit!
